Creepy crawly:
Not a big fan of spiders and snakes. My kids will flail or spiral their arms before them if they approach/depart the front door to avoid webs to the face. A few unfortunate experiences during fall in their youth linger well into their adult visits. Ew, right?
There was a loud croak/groan on my walk this morning with the dog. It sounded kind of prehistoric, but it was an elegant bird that usually isn’t viewed where it was.
An egret perched in a high tree scared the ____(fill in the blank) out of me! Usually they stand along or in the pond to catch a meal.
My seasonal decor (gifted and much appreciated) that adds a bit of spooky whimsy to the front garden, Boney Flamingo.
